Bump to Beyond Ltd is owner by Senior Specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapist Deborah Schofield. The business began as Mummy Massage and Physiotherapy Clinic in 2013 and evolved to become Bump to Beyond in October 2019.
We are a specialist women’s health physiotherapy, fitness and wellness clinic striving to improve the standard of care offered to pregnant and post-natal clients, right through to helping with problems that arise from Menopause. We offer services that can look after you both physically and mentally, from Bump to Beyond.
We have two clinics in Greater Manchester, UK. Our South Manchester clinic is located in Sale town (M33) and our North Manchester clinic is in Rochdale (OL12). We also offer online services.
Deborah K Schofield

Deborah studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and received a first class honours in 2009. Deborah’s passion has always been working with pregnant/post-natal and peri to post menopausal women and has over 11 years experience within the women’s health field. She has worked in the women’s health physiotherapy NHS departments of Central Manchester University Hospital and the University of South Manchester Hospital. She left a senior women’s health NHS post in 2018 to concentrate solely on Bump to Beyond.

Deborah also has a love of both the holistic therapies and manual therapies and has 16 years experience of providing holistic therapy treatments. She is a member of the chartered society of physiotherapy, a member of the POGP and a recognised professional on the HCPC register .
Deborah works full time across both Sale and Rochdale locations, whilst also currently studying her Masters qualifaction in Women’s Health and busy being Mummy to her two beautiful girls, 2 cats and a dog.

Rebecca has worked for us since December 2018. She studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and received a first class honours degree in 2012. Having worked at different areas at Rotal Bolton Hospital , she realised her passion was working with pre and post natal women doing women’s health physiotherapy. Rebecca has been a patient herself following the birth of her 2nd child and so realises how important it is for women to seek expertise help to ensure they are not left with any long term problems. Rebecca has done the Mummy MOT training and a level 3 diploma in body massage. She is a member of the CSP.
Rebecca works Monday evenings and ad-hoc wednesdays at the Sale Clinic.

Sarah started working for us in October 2019, Sarah is a Women’s Heath Physiotherapist with over 8 years NHS experience within this speciality. She is a mum of 2, and work both in the NHS and at privately with us. She has experience with pregnant and post natal ladies with pelvic pain, tummy muscle separation, and pelvic floor dysfunction. This includes pelvic floor exercises, urinary and faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and painful intercourse. She also teaches aquanatal classes 3 x weekly in the South Manchester areas. These classes include cardio, strength training, stretching and of course pelvic floor exercises! She is passionate that women should be able to enjoy their pregnancies and new babies without pain or pelvic floor dysfunction. She wants to empower women to feel in control of their bladder and bowel, to be confident with pelvic floor exercises and enjoy life!

Women’s Health Reflexologist.
Kay started working for us in January 2020. She qualified in reflexology over 13 years ago and holds the VTCT Diploma Level 3 in Reflexology. She has also taken further training in pregnancy reflexology /fertility reflexology and clinical reflexology. Kay is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and fully insured. Kay specialises in supporting women’s health and has seen hundreds of women gaining great experience. Her main areas are pre-conception supporting ladies trying to conceive whether naturally or going through the IVF process. She works with ladies through pregnancy from after the 1st trimester up until preparation for labour and ladies that are overdue. She also supporst ladies with stress which often has an affect on hormonal balance such as irregular cycles, PMT, painful and heavy periods. But also remember to have reflexology there does not have to a specific issue it’s great for OVERALL RELAXATION and STRESS RELIEF. It great for increasing the circulation, helping the body remove toxins, improve sleep, mood and allowing you take time out. Reflexology should not used in place of conventional medical care and if you have a particular concern please seek advice from a GP or health professional.”
