Physiotherapy and/or massage notes are stored in lines with the data protection act and are kept online and/or on paper which are stored in a locked cabinet. Your email address will be used to send booking confirmations, appointment reminders and any other appointment changes will be communicated via email and/or phone such as to rearrange any appointments due to your therapist no longer being able to work on that day. Under the data protection act you will have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.
